Tablet Screen on Raspberry Pi

Hello guys.

 

The tablet of a friend of mine broke and he gave it to me, so I could disassemble and use it. Now I have the question if it is possible to connect the screen of the tablet to a raspberry pi, just as a monitor without any fancy touch stuff.

 

As far as I found out the screen is a kr070le7t 00796-A 40 Pin 7" Screen.

you need to know what the pins are and you likely need a driver for it. cheaper and easier to get a second hand $10 LCD
