Hi guys,

I'm typing this with my extremely slow internet to my PC.

My internet is excellent to any other device in the house, but when it comes to my PC, everything is slow about the internet on it, right now anyways.

I just reset my PC, and I've been installing the BIOS, and other programs from Gigabyte for my PC, and it suddenly started running slow.

Below is a picture of everything I have installed as of now.

PS. I have a wired connection from my router, but I do have a WIFI card on my PC also, which I don't use as of now.

Can you run a speedtest on a device that has normal internet speeds and on your pc with slow internet?

PC:

Ping-182ms

Download Speed-0.07Mbps

Upload Speed-0.02Mbps

Phone:

Ping-32ms

Download Speed-2.77Mbps

Upload Speed-0.73Mbps

Could you perhaps do another reset of your pc and run a speedtest after each program you install? That way you can see which program causes the slow internet connection.

I could, I was just hoping not to reset once again, I was hoping someone would know why my internet is so slow on my PC.

I've just noticed that my wireless connection produces a lot better internet results, nearly better than my phone. I've reset my PC multiple times and the wired connection has been fine, it must have been a program I installed this time, anyone have any ideas?

Could be the ethernet cable? Have you got any other cables lying around you can try, often minor breakages within the cable can cause the issues you describe.

Have you tried to install/reinstall the ethernet drivers for the motherboard?
