For 4K 60 FPS I would go for the Titan XP.

You probably mean GPUs for 4k @ 60fps... Not even a Titan X(Pascal) can get a stable 60fps at 4K. Vega won't be anywhere near Titan X levels of performance, so you should either get a Titan XP right now, or wait for the 1080 Ti (for when and if they launch it).

Did you assume that this is the case or what?

I have two GTX 1080s in SLI and probably could achieve 60fps at 4k as long as the drivers are there. I dont game at 4k though and instead game on the 3440x1440p Acer Predator.

i just sold my dual msi gaming x 1070 and got the money to buy a msi gaming x 1080 and have money left for some new ML140 Fans.

Current Amazon Prices - GTX 1070 $419.99 - GTX 1080 - $638.00 - Titan XP  $ 1,497 24

DX12 Game Benches shows Max Settings Hitman - 37 fps - 47fps - 60fps - The amount you pay to get 13 more fps is not worth the 2.2x price you pay - probably i can save the difference and get 1080 ti when it releases in may with almost titan xp performance since i wont be ever going close to sli or crossfire anymore.
