Is my laptop NVMe compatible ?

Hello,

I just purchased an Asus GL553VD and it has been amazing so far.

I just wanted to know if I can boot from an NVMe drive, I asked Asus support and they don't know.

Here is a link to the specs :  https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/ROG-GL553VD/specifications/

You can clearly see that PCIe gen3x4 ssd are supported but it is not mentioned if they can be booted from as this was an issue with the GL552VW.

Anyone owns this laptop and can confirm compatibility or has any clue ?

I don't want to waste money on an NVMe drive if it won't work.

Thanks.

Edit: NVMe ssd work just fine with this laptop. Asus support confirmed.
