Hi

I am trying to use 5-way optimization from asus to overclock my 6850k with the asus deluxe 2 motherboard.
But I don't know if the program is working correct? Since it just keep ramping up the frequency.
I have manually made a overclock from the bios to 4.3GHz with core voltage of 1.3V, but was just courius on how the 5-way optimization would do.
Is the program broke? Since it states that it can reach 5.5Ghz but when it restarts the pc can not boot.

I am using my manually overclock, I was just wondering if other people have bad experience with the 5-way optimazation or I might have set something wrong?

True fact: Software overclocking is always bad. /s

Seriously though, avoid ocing by software, it rarely works properly.

Just manually overclock it, they usually put wayyyyy too much voltage for the clock speed :)

Although my experience with autovoltage on my x99-s isn't that bad as it was only over by 0.05V compared to me manually dialing in a voltage

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
