I am relatively new to all this and need some advice.

I am build a entry PC using mostly used parts, and I am in the search for a used graphics card.

These are just some i was looking at but just wondering if any of these are any good.

my budget is 50 take or less 25%.

I'd go for the Radeon HD 6950, particularly the 2 GB one. It's faster and has more VRAM.

Just noticed there were a lot HD 6870s which i might make an offer for cheaper for.

Around here hte prices of those are similar to newer gen cards that are even better. But it depends on what you want to playfor games  and settings. What is your resolution and screen setup?

 

For the 2 mentioned the 6950 is better.

i have a couple of 6950 2gig cards. they weren't bad.
