Hi, here's my problem. Today I installed Robocraft, I launched the game and everything was going allright. I tried to change the graphics settings (It was in the lowest option and I changed it to the highest one) it worked but I was getting about 15fps, so I tried to put it back on low, when I did that, my computer frozed, so I restarted it. I thought it was because of my hdd, wich is quite old. I ran some tests and everything was right. Then, I launched the game again. In the "Choose account" menu, it started to glitch and throw some artifacts at the screen, I tried to close the game but ctrl+alt+supr wont work at all, but the game crashed anyways. I opened MSI Afterburner and it wouldnt detect the gpu. Then GPU-Z. I tried to launch Minecraft but the console said It needed opengl. The dispositive administrator sais there is a problem with the card.

I have a Gt 630, the card had a really small oc (810 to 900). Im afraid to restart the computerm, since the graphics card still gives me video.

Edit: Restarted the computer fixed the problem, but Im still not sure of what happened, maybe it was just some corrupted file that crashed the driver

well the gpu is really old so there is a chance it's dead but then it should't give video... maybe a driver issue? restarting shouldn't change anything

Its actually 4-5 months old (Bought it because I needed DX12 support

The GPU cannot be dead per se if you are still running your display through it.

Have you physically opened your setup to check for any noticeable abnormalities on the GPU itself? You can still take off the side panel and just make sure there is nothing immediately wrong, but do not start touching internal components without first shutting down the system.

Personally, I would shut down the computer and look inside and if need be run the display through mobo ports for now until the issue is resolved.

The fan on the card is spinning correctly, I have video through the card but it seems to come from the mobo gpu (g31 chipset), I dont know if thats posible tho

It wouldn't come from the integrated graphics on either your motherboard or your processor.

If the GPU was dead, it would not give you a signal onto your monitor, and the fan would probably not spin.

Since you mentioned the artifacts and the overclock, I think that the spike of load that was put on the GPU from raising the settings overheated it. I suggest that you let it cool, open up the computer and make sure there are no obvious problems with it, and run the computer off of the motherboard ports until you can get help from someone more knowledgeable than I to help.

Good luck!

Thanks you a lot, I should have mentioned that I opened Rocket League (no other game would open) and it run at I think 3-4 fps, but with no artifacts. Also, stressing the gpufor about 2 hours only got it to 60C, about 32C ambient temperature (every single game stress it). Now im going to restart the computer since anyways I cant do much. I will update.
