Heatsink Mod for LGA775
Go to solution
Solved by corrado33,
It depends on the type of mounting that particular heatsink has. If it has noctua's type of mounting, where the heatsink screws into two holes, then yes, you may be able to fudge it with some bolts from the hardware store. If it has cooler master's type of mounting, where the heatsink screws into the 4 holes on the motherboard directly (or close enough) you'd probably have a hard time getting it right.
