would like more colors... this is like an old school car deck.

or just this would be nice but they discontinued this and its upgrade version.

Interesting concept though I don't see the point for most people as their computers are on the floor. Though a mini ITX system or media case from Lian Li and you could be onto something.

As for a newer version; as it's a very niche market you could try the likes of eBay and Chinese exporters but I fear you may not have any luck. If you'rfe any good with DIY and don't mind hunting the scrap yards, you might be able to find a color LCD display from a scrapped car and hack that together.

Its more for LANs and sitting pretty ;), but yes i understand the market for this stuff is small. Just hoping someone has some awesome ideas because an equalizer would be amazing to go with the hue lighting system that they just showed on NCIX which I am ordering for breathing and blinking effects. And ftr - last time I used anything from a car (cathode tube underbody light) eventually it just burned out my wires and put too much stress on the psu. so i am assuming a resister or something would be in order... im not 100% on hacking that stuff together but it is very interesting of a thought - i will ponder that.
