Hi, my friend has an AMD computer and today the computer boots up, but the screen was black. He turned it off and tried to clean it out a little of dust with air, and tried again. The screen is blue with black lines through it now. I'm trying to figure out if this is the graphics card, or a power issue from somewhere. It looks like a hardware failure to me somewhere, though. He's quite torn up because he can't afford to fix it and it's the only one he had.

It's an older computer so I figured it'd die at some point. I've uploaded what the computer looks like inside. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be based on this info or should I do more troubleshooting? I know the monitor isn't an issue because it works with everything else.

Yeah, it's and 890FXA-GD65 motherboard, as far as I know there's no connection for video on it, the card is required. I was just trying to make sure it wasn't an issue of the power supply not giving enough power or something. His hard drive should be safe at least, right? I doubt a dying hard drive would give a symptom like that.
