Asus GameFirst IV

Hi,

 

I have Windows 10 on my PC and I also have an Asus motherboard that supports GameFirst III. Is there a way to block off Windows Update download from it?

There might be, but you might have better luck with a group policy change if you have windows 10 pro. If you have windows 10 home, you can set your internet connection to "metered" in order to gain granular controls. 

 

Group policy you open

gpedit.msc

Naviagate -> Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update

Locate the setting for "Configure automatic Updates" double click this

Select Enabled (I know counter intuitive) 

 

Now select your automatic updating setting. I have mine on setting 2.
