So today I feel my LG G3 had a tiny stroke. First I noticed Im not getting MMS messages. This I found could be an IPv6 issue on T Mobiles network. However the weirdest issue was with the battery. I started with about 44%. I restarted my device to see if that was the issue with my MMS. When the device booted back up I had 16% battery. After about an hour and 15 min I had 22% battery. Not sure. Could the battery possibly be going? Should I think about a FDR? Or is my phone slowly dieing?

There are two reason I havent bought a new phone.

Firstly Im a poor college student living off Government Loans.

Second I havent found any devices I like.

I like the G3 for its size. Also the battery life wasnt too terrible.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

What are your thoughts on those extended batteries? They are not LG branded but the one I was looking at was around $30. The Standard LG battery is a bit over $11.

Sorry to hear about the battery issues... I owned a LG G3 for nearly 3 years but on Christmas day it decided while it was charging to practically melt the mini-usb connection and surrounding plastic on the back of the phone.

Needless to say I was not able to ever use that port again. I have actually recently retired it and settled for the OnePlus 3t since it has tons of new features compared to the G3 and has a good price point. IF you are able to afford it, I'd highly recommend it! Otherwise good luck with your G3. @Donut417

I did a reset on my device and first a t mobile app crahsed during setup. Then I restarted the device because it froze. Then the setup wizard crashed. I think the phone is trying to tell me to fuck off. So I think I might hold off on the battery and try to find a phone.

I looked at the One Plus 3T. I like it because it looks good as well as it has more memory and ram than my current device. Im not 100% sure if its compatible with T Mobile. As Tmobile doesn't have it on its compatibility list. So Im a little hesitant because I want to make sure not only is it compatible but It uses as many T Mobile frequencies as possible. I was told they deployed a new band in the area that offers better performance. The LG G3 doesn't support this new band.

All I know is this:

T Mobile Bands
4G LTE: Band 2(1900) Band 4(1700/2100)
Band 12 (700)

One Plus 3T

GSM 850, 900, 1800,1900
4G LTE (Cat. 6)

WCDMA Bands:1/2/4/5/8
FDD-LTE Bands 1/2/4/5/7/12/17/30
CDMA EVDO: BC0

One last question will T Mobile offer me insurance on it or should I look at square trade? Only ask, because I have dropped devices before. But thank god none of them broke.

The only downside is their Northern Wisconsin coverage. I don't live in northern WI but I do travel there every now and then, I guess AT&T and Verizon bought out the frequencies/bands over there during the last auction. I am still super satisfied with how it's been working the past half week.

I just paid for an insurance plan straight through the OnePlus website when I ordered the phone. It did take about 2 weeks to arrive... but it did arrive 1 day earlier than the estimation.

Thanks for the help. I ended up going for it. For $553 I got the phone the insurance coverage a case and glass screen protector. Should be here by the first.
