Need Help Finding Mini-ITX board and Case.

Raphael_123

Hello, everyone!

Around 2 to 3 years ago, I decided to get a 750D case and Standard ATX board. Now I regret doing this :D (Really heavy with all the components)

I will be moving states in summer, and I was thinking of getting a Mini-ITX. Would also need a small case to be able to put on a carry-on would be perfect !!!

EDIT#1

CPU: Intel i7 4770k
GPU: EVGA 770 Dual Bios
RAM: 16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengenance (x2 8GB each)
MOBO: ASUS Z87 Maximus Hero VI
PSU: 750w Corsair RM
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB
SSD: Intel 730 Series 240 GB

x2 Seagate 3TB HDDs
COOLING: Corsair H100i

Budget for this project is less than $200.

I was looking at a Corsair Obsidian 250D Mini ITX Case but i am open to any other option.

Thank you in advance!

The 250D is quite large for an mITX case. There are plenty of case options from super small mITX like a Node 202 to "massive" mATX like a 350D.

You'll also likely need to buy used at this point since there aren't really any Z87/Z97 boards available anymore.

PSU Tier List | CoC

Gaming Build | FreeNAS Server

Spoiler

i5-4690k || Seidon 240m || GTX780 ACX || MSI Z97s SLI Plus || 8GB 2400mhz || 250GB 840 Evo || 1TB WD Blue || H440 (Black/Blue) || Windows 10 Pro || Dell P2414H & BenQ XL2411Z || Ducky Shine Mini || Logitech G502 Proteus Core

Spoiler

FreeNAS 9.3 - Stable || Xeon E3 1230v2 || Supermicro X9SCM-F || 32GB Crucial ECC DDR3 || 3x4TB WD Red (JBOD) || SYBA SI-PEX40064 sata controller || Corsair CX500m || NZXT Source 210.

Do you mean micro atx.

I believe what i want is a Mini-ITX? The mobo with 2 ram slots and 1 PCI-E for GPU.

Yes, that is Mini-ITX. Mini-ATX was once a thing iirc but now it isn't.
