M.2 or u.2

My motherboard has an m.2 turbo slot for 32 gbs. It comes with a u.2 adapter. Which ssd should i buy?. Or should i buy a small pcie lane drive. Im looking to use it for small sotrage. As a boot drive

I'm assuming its an NVMe capable m.2 slot so get any m.2 NVMe drive (not m.2 sata)

 

Drives using the u.2 connector are pretty rare compared to the m.2 form factor. Performance should be more or less same between the two though, so get whatevers cheaper. (just make sure its NVMe and your board supports it)
