Headset Troubles

Hey I have had problems with my mic, the first mic i had was a logitech g130, it was fine but i had alot of background static that would play regardless if i was talking or not, i thought hte mic was broken so i bought a siberia 200 steel series after about a year and it does the same thing, ive had two motherboards since then aswell. can anyone explain what it is

You have to either adjust your audio sensitivity or there could be electrical interferance in your computers audio system. Most of the time it's mostly due to  improperly tuned audio levels and sensitivity you can easily adjust it in the audio settings in windows.
