I have a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480

Go for the 1080 panel with freesync. The Freesync is compatible with your amd card, and the Rx 480 will have some trouble with some games at 1440p.

do you have an AMD card? If yes, get the freesync. While your on it an willing to spend a bit more money, get at least 120hz. 1440p is very nice, but your graphics card needs to be able to handle it.

My Setup:
CPU: i7 4790 @3800 MHz, MB: MSI H87-G41, Grafik: Gigabyte GTX 1080TI, RAM: 2x 8GB DDR3 (1600), Storage: Samsung SSD 850 Evo
