So, basically run into few problems.

First, PC was turned on for 10hrs, last was brother playing Far Cry 4 after he shuts PC down.

And I turn on again after some time, but then I ran into a " CPU temperature is high error " problem, which instantly sent me into  BIOS .

I have asus z87-c motherboard.

I saw there are 3 options/modes : normal, performance and silent or saving mode or something like that.

I picked silent/saving mode (was normal before) and after restart I got new problem.

Secondly, after I saved silent/saving mode I got problem with monitor.

I got message on screen " No video input" and "entering sleep mode".

Changed cables and ports but nothing.

Then I saw some weird red light turned on my motherboard, little above GPU.

Little led and near some text VGA_Light.

Immediatly after I turn PC, first that red light near GPU blink, then near RAM, and back to GPU.

Now, I cant even manage PC to stay turned on, it shuts down itself.

If anyone can help , pls, be free to post some suggestions here.

I would check your application of thermal compound if you are getting errors with the CPU temperatures. However, it seems as if you have a whole slew of issues here. It would be helpful to diagnose if this is one issue with many symptom or many issues coincidentally at the same time. It could very much be possible that the red light next to your graphics card would have something to do with your issue with your monitor. Try removing the graphics card and using integrated display ports, and see if that works.

Tried on integrated and getting same message, No video input, sleep mode.

I don't know which CPU is under that cooler, but, I see a lot of dust, might help to clear some of that out to prevent cool air from being blocked as well, and darn it, Undertaker225 beat me to it. :P

its intel i5 4570 3,2 ghz. Will clean tommorow.

I wouldn't believe that the little dust he has, though not preferable, would cause any of these issues.

When you tried the integrated graphics, did you remove the GPU?

I didnt remove GPU, but I might try that tommorow.

But as I said, I ran into this problem after putting into some kind of saving/silent mode in BIOS menu, from normal to silent mode.

Can that be problem?

When in doubt, you can always set the BIOS back to factory defaults, it should provide good baseline settings. (Though make sure that if you have SSDs that it runs in AHCI mode.)

1. When you use integrated graphics, you MUST remove the GPU, or else you won't receive input.

2. I am not very familiar with silent/savings mode, but it is always good to retrace your steps, changing settings back to before the problem occurred to narrow down the issue.

No SSD. How can I put BIOS to factory defaults?

I dont see anything on screen, nor my keyboard lights are turned on.

Small derp on my end, well yeah, the GPU will likely need to be removed first to force the onboard, once you get display input again it will be in the Exit menu most likely, but being able to see might be handy... xD

Damn, pile of problems.

But, after all also my keyboard seem to not work also. So I am thinking that mobo might not working at all.

So, I removed GPU and tried on integrated graphics, still got same problem.

And I cant change my BIOS setting to default cause still I dont have monitor.

I plugged monitor to my laptop and its working, with little red dots on its and sometimes lines coming out.

I fear it sounds like something went broken in there. Possibly the motherboard but you can only be sure by testing each part as individually as possible with the resources available.

Are you using different mediums to connect the monitor to the laptop as apposed to the Computer? i.e. VGA, DVI, HMDI, DP

It's hard to compare the problem if you are using different mediums because the issue could be with the monitor's port.

I'm having trouble believing that the issue is with the motherboard, did you see any busted capacitors?

First, it wasnt with motherboard.

And still I cant figure out what cause my display to not turn on and VGA_LED lamp turned.

But I wanted to clear dust from processor, so much there.

And I fucked mobo when I put CPU back in rush so It caused some damage on mobo.

No more VGA_LED but now cpu_led and dram_led became new problem with monitor still not working.

So I sent PC to service and they told me I dmged mobo at CPU slot, but that was after main problems I described.

Ouch, where did you send it to? Local computer shop or Motherboard manufacturer? Hearing about the issue with the CPU, it seems as if you should probably just replace the motherboard. If the pins are at all bent then the manufacturer will most likely NOT replace the motherboard for you.

Lol, you could have taken pictures of the socket and I would have been able to tell you for free xD

Well, I was in rush, but thank you anyways.

I am planning to replace some parts for longer time, seem like time has come.

Sorry this issue occurred, let me know what the verdict was from the computer repair shop, I'm curious. Good luck otherwise.

I got PC. But unfortunately, my brother took pc from service and I dont know what was actually a problem.

As I said before, after I got into so much problems, I damaged mobo when returning CPU back and that caused even more problems.

I need to make a call to find out what was problem before mobo.
