Hello everyone.

Just a weird question:

I bought Gtx 1080 which seemed to be faulty, so I sent it back. Now Im forced to used integrated Intel 530 graphics which as you all know suck at gaming while the replacement comes. but i have old gtx 580 lying around, which doesnt have HDMI output but only DVI. I dont have any DVI cables at home and Im not really willing to pay 20 pounds for one, if i know I gonna use it just for week max.

So the question is - is it possible to use onboard graphics output for screen, but let the pci graphics card to do the job? Maybe there is some software or something?

Thanks!

No. When you use the gpu, the igpu usually is disabled so if the gpu is plugged in, the mobo output will have no visual.

I enabled multi monitor settings in bios and I have output from igpu. I remember years ago there was a software which is now discontinued and i can not really find which allowed them to kinda work together.,. 聽Just wondering if there is something similar for windows 10

Its on the way, was just wondering. Heh, its 2017, laptops can have 2 gpus and switch between them, pc can not use one output from motherboard...

What motherboard do you have? Get the Intel igfx driver and install it. This will let you use the iGPU聽and dGPU at the same time. Obviously, the monitor attached to the iGPU will be slower in games compared to the one attached to the dGPU.
