Ipod says Correct wifi password is incorrrect

I have an Ipod 5th generation and my WiFi dropped out earlier today. Well, after about 10 minutes it was back up on my PC (which is on WiFi not Ethernet). However i still couldn't connect on my Ipod, the bars were grayed out like it was picking up the network but couldn't connect to the internet, let alone it wouldn't connect in the first place. So i figured my ipod just needed to be restarted, but that just made it weirder. Now its shows that it has signal however when i enter the CORRECT password it says its incorrect. after a bit of googling still nothing. Also i did reset my network settings.

Kidding, of course. I would try backing up the iPod to iTunes and factory resetting it. This should fix the issue. You could also pull the plug on the router, or even change the password on the router. For more detail, remember, if you can type on a forum, you can Google something.
