theres a project to do this with phones but i dont think they have launched anything and they are criticised for increasing pollution & waste. Old Apple laptops were very modular but that was during the 90s when they weren't making any money

My friend made this video for his final.

The idea is a modular system that enables you to stack different components on top of each other.

What do you guys think?

Would this be something you would be interested in?

Thanks!

The video is ok. A bit overdramatized and drawn out. The little light moving across the bottom of the button in one of the first scenes skips across the entire bottom in a single frame and that annoys me.

The concept though, will never work. You'd have to have an entire different type of programming for programs to take advantage of things in that nature.

Was it actually your friend or is this a repost from PCMR?

I personally wouldn't use it as I like building my own computers but this is really damn interesting and if done right would be amazing for the desktop computer industry. It would be something that I would recommend to some people and even buy myself just to check it out and review it.
