Android X86

Does anyone out there know how to get Android-X86 working properly? I can run the OS from a live disc fine, but after installation to a blank hard disk, the system won't boot into Android. I've tried this on many systems, including a few Dell OptiPlex's, a Toshiba Satellite Pro, and others. Any help would really be appreciated, as I love the Android ecosystem but my newest Android device can't run anything newer than Lollipop (Ugh!). Thanks!

Make sure you actually install the GRUB bootloader when you install it. Once I figured out I wasn't do that, I was able to daily Android on my Eee PC 1005HA (oh the sadness).

It goes into the boot sequence, but doesn't actually start the OS. I've not gotten it to work in a VM either. And all the computers were not using UEFI.
