G-Sync at high Fps

If optimal means absolutely maximum FPS, as I understand the case is for CS:GO, do the same you'd do on any monitor, dial down your settings to get the FPS to the hundreds and disable G-sync and V-sync. You gotta understand that just like V-sync, G-sync reduces the FPS output of the monitor.

After Linus has posted his Video where he compares gsync and freesync with each other i was really confused because i want to have like the best responsetime for cs:go if i will spend a lot money on a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q.

Whitch are the optimal settings for the game/monitor.

 

Have a Gtx 1080 from Gigabiyte

If you want the best response time you should'nt bother with any kind of frame syncing. They all add latency. Also if you can keep stable high framerates G-Sync wouldn't do  much for you anyway. It's better at those games that are heavy and you get fps drops.
