Good video encoder

Hello. I'm in need of a video encoder as the software I used called handbrake is no longer working for me. I tried reinstalling it but still doesn't work. Theres a lot of video encoders out there but most are bogus. Anyone know a free video encoder/converter?

Handbrake is the best there is, I don't know why its not working for you

What part of handbrake are you having trouble with? Have you tried format factory? That's my ghetto go-to when handbrake fails on me.

I use windows live movie maker.. it comes with windows live.. .its very good .. I can upload videos to youtube with it also..u can edit, resize, etc...
