So I ordered the Google Pixel at the beginning of December, they told me it was back ordered but I could order so I'd be in line for it to ship January 13th. I was pretty disappointed at having to wait another month with my old phone, but ordered it anyways.

 

Well it was supposed to ship last Friday, called them up today to see what they'd say...they are now saying I won't get the phone till March 10th?!?!? What stupidity is this.

I ordered the phone, knowing how many orders they had ahead of me, they told me it'd ship January 13th, possibly earlier. Now March 10th...either their shutting down the phone plant for 2 months, can't estimate worth a crap, or moved me behind a ton of holiday orders...

 

You'd think for a phone that will cost me $950 they'd have some more sense then that.

Ask for a refund and get something else if it angers you that much, no sense giving them your money if you're put in a waiting line that long.  The best way to let a company know how you feel is to speak with your wallet.

I'm still on the line about whether to cancel. I just found out about this so I don't want to cancel and then regret it the next day since theres not really any other phones out I want that I've seen.

As someone who had to wait from ordering on the day of the announcement and to the end of November to get theirs, just cancel and get different phone. It's really nothing special unless you're absolutely into Google's ecosystem (what ecosystem?).
