Split SATA data? Not using at once.

So, hello. I have a spare drive. I decided to install some OS on it to use. The problem is I ran out of SATA data ports. But not SATA power

My motherboard support only 4 SATA ports. I don't want to buy a new motherboard just to have extra SATA ports and going through the process of removing each and very component I have in my build

I know that you can not split SATA data and use them simultaneously.

But I don't want to. All I want to is split SATA data, one of the drive will sent data back to mobo while the other one is off. And then when I want to use the other one I can switch it somehow

PCIE card is out of question, no more PCIE slot at all

No more SATA, no mSata and please don't suggest USB.

The temporary solution is plug out my drive physically and leave the other one there and when I want to use it back just replug the SATA again.
