So I just found a g510 in the dumpster, working just fine, but I want to remove the keycaps. Its a membrane keyboard though, so is that even possible?

Yes, it is possible.

You can use a 'regular' mechanical keycap remover, or something like a screwdriver will work.

The G510 / G15 / G110 / G105 (basically all Logitech membrane keyboards) are like in the video.

I owned a G110 for ~2 years a while back, and a they can easily be removed with a keycap puller -- just requires a bit more force.

They are pretty sturdy, and will require a bit of pulling force -- don't be afraid.

Yeah, but why do you want to remove the keycaps? To clean?

If you wanna replace them with other keycaps then I just wouldn't bother, there's less options for replacement keycaps for membranes.

Yes, to clean.
