I've used audio splitters before in an attempt to get audio from two different computers to play from the same headset before, but every time it causes a lot of static. I recently bought an arctis 3 and noticed it has two audio plugs that I can use. I decided to test if it worked with them, so I plugged both my computers into it. Though testing I've found that when plugged into both computers there is static but if one of the computers is replaced with a phone it works perfectly.

Does anyone know what causes this static?
