Building first desktop, built system outside of case to check components all worked fine, unfortunately after place the components into the case the green led for power lights up but non of the other components will turn on or light up, I have discharged the power supply and made sure all connections are secure. unsure where to go from there, any help would be great.

 

System Specs

 

MotherBoard- ASUS Z170-A

CPU- I5 6600k

CPU Cooler- Cooler Master 212-evo

RAM- Corsair Dominator 16gb (2x8) 3000mhz

HDD- WD Blue 1TB

GPU- ASUS Geforce Dual GTX 1050ti 4gb

PSU- EVGA 500 BQ 80+ Bronze

outside the case you got to the bios?

Does the psu turn on? did your psu come with a tester? something that connects to the motherboard 24 pin to verify it works.

Yes I am using the Q-connector and gone through it 3-4 times checking over making sure all of the connections are correct.

 

try without the Q-Connector, b/c i was having issues with computer not turning on when using it, so i don't actually use it for mine, just make sure they are lined up correctly
