How do rebates work ?

Hey guys . I'm from Malaysia and therefore have never heard of rebate over here . What if I buy from NCIX using international shipping ? Will I get rebate ? Is it some card or instant price cut ?

For example : ASUS Radeon HD 7970 DirectCU II for $329.99 , $309.99 after rebate .

You pay the full price, the mail them whatever the rebate thing is (usually a card, I think) and then they pay you back whatever the amount of the rebate is.

Check the rebate website for details if you want to know if your country is eligible for this offer. You would have to pay $329.99 first and you get $20 back from the rebate service if you send in the rebate.

Rebates are usually region specific. If you read the terms and conditions, it 'll tell you for sure.
