So I have a Kinesis Model 110 keyboard that I can't seem to get working. It uses PS/2 to connect to the computer but I've been using a PS/2 to usb adapter since I don't have a PS/2 cable laying around. When I plug in the keyboard the keyboard makes a sound whenever I push a key, but thats it. From the user manual i've read online it says that it doesn't need drivers to work, but im stumped right now. The only thing that I can think of that may be causing the problem is the version of windows(I've tried on both 10 and Vista), or it needs a special cable. Any help would be appreciated.

If anything i'll just take the switches and attempt to make a custom keyboard or something.

How do you mean PS2 cable? Isn't it connected to the keyboard itself?
