Weird USB2.0 Header

How the hell am I supposed to use this USB2.0 header?

 

It has 4 pins on the top row and 5 pins on the bottom.

I would say consult your owners manual to make sure they are actually USB headers and not something else. We can't really tell you anything unless we new what the mother board was anyways. If they are headers they're just flipped is all.

you buy a 5.25" face plate with USB2 or a PCI slot cover with USB 2 connectors.

That's not what he's asking. The pins are "usually" 5 on top and 4 on the bottom. ASUS just flipped it for whatever reason. But really the owners manual would do him a lot of good instead of coming here and asking what the hell hes supposed to do with them, especially considering we don't even know the motherboard. This is also the guy who thought exposing thermal paste to Air was super bad and leaving it sitting on a CPU would cause irreparable damage.

you comment is too long so i did not read it all. He asked how to use them. I answered exactly how to use them; you buy an accessory with a usb2 header plug

My manual says that the USB Header is shared with ROG_EXT, but it doesn't mention anywhere about the other 9pin Header to the right. And my motherboard is the Asus z270 Maximus Formula IX.
