Help!!

I have a huge problem, I have a PC and when I went to plug in my tablet a blue spark went from the cable to the pc and it shut off instantly.i turned off the psu and switched the mobo usb headed turned on the PC to try again and when I went to plug the tablet in it did it again this time I turned it back on and windows had an error and I had to restore windows to a previous backup, if you can help let me know

1. The tablet is faulty

2. Stop plugging it back in if it keeps sparking

3. Try a new cable

It can't be the tablet it works fine with the same cable in other PC's

 

The PC also shocks me once in a while just training it on 

So it's something to do with the PC 

Do you know anything else it could be

What the hell? Are all three prongs on your power cable to the power outlet all there? If so you have a serious grounding problem and your PSU is faulty and potentially dangerous/explosive. I would get that thing out PRONTO.

My power supply has all three prongs,the PC works fine if I don't use front panel usb, is there any other options other than getting a new PSU, my PC is on carpet could that be a factor?

If it's shocking you, that's a dangerous PSU. I would really get another one before it fries your system or it fries you. I'd recommend this, but I use the 1000 watt version. The 850w costs about the same as the others.
