Razer keyboards

Go to solution Solved by Kleever,

BW: X has a metal finish on top with exposed switches, BW: Chroma has a plastic cover on top of it with a white backplate under it so you'll get brighter lighting on the BW: Chroma.

BW: Chroma has a USB passthrough, audio passthrough and 5 macro keys on the left, BW: X has none of those.

BW: X has cable routing, Chroma doesn't.

BW: X has a much more professional looking font on the keycaps while the BW: Chroma uses a blocky alien gamer font.

Having used both, I prefer the BW: X because I don't use any of the original's features and I prefer the smaller footprint, the original Chroma is also a fingerprint magnet due to the matte paint they used while the X doesn't attract fingerprints. The X also has a better chance of coming with the Greetech switch which a lot of people have been praising.

The Blackwidow X has exposed switches

The Blackwidow has macro keys and the blackwidow x doesnt have them and has exposed switches. I would recommend a corsair keyboard as razer synapse is rather unreliable
