Awesome Help.

Hello Everyone,

I was browsing through the forum and I am still not getting the following issue:

I have a tripple 1440p setup (Dell U2515H) , I havent used it yet and I am looking for a Video Card ( My previous setup was a dual 27" 1080p with a radeon r7 260x could I use it combined with the internal IntelGPU??? ) .

I am a developer so I need a triple 1440p resolution for my daily job. Gaming is not my primary goal and if I do I d use the center screen... (1440p would be nice)

Looking through some posts ppl say that if you dont wanna play on all 3 screens than Its possible to hook the monitors up to a cheaper card ...

How is this possible? Looking at the specs I always notice a max resolution.... only the 1060 GTX and above does the trick... Do I need a new card? Would myold Card be ok?  Can I use a used 980GTX, can I use a 1060 3 GB?

My setup is an i7 3770K, 16Gb, couple of HDDs and SSD, 750 Powersupply....

Thank you very much for your time and help....

You could use a new card for the only display that would be used for gaming and use your old card in addition for the two surrounding displays, provided that the card can handle that resolution X2.

So I could use my old card and an entirely different card for the center monitor? I would still have my desktop extended on all 3 monitors?

Yep. Also, welcome to the forum. Try to quote people when you reply so they see you've replied.

If they are all plugged in the desktop is gonna extend. If the card supports the res it will work. 1 card, 2 cards. You can do what ever you want.
