All kidding aside I I did some small calculations and learned that the 1080 is not for me unless I want to work until February to finish my my set up and start buying games so the first thing I thought of was to reduce the GPU a nice $200, because I still want everything else, so will a GTX 1070 FTW Hybrid fit in the corsair air 240?

Yes, this should fit if you don't use a liquid cpu cooler.

Actually I can't be sure, I didn't see the hybrid part at first, a normal 1070 ftw will not fit.

I do use a water cooler buts its a h75 which is 120mm
