295x2 troubles

I just got a 295x2 yesterday and it is terribly underporforming even in games with great crossfire scaling the only game that has worked well is dying light

 

Also even with crossfire disabled battlefield 1 is not perfoming to a 290x level

What is your power supply? What are the temps of both GPUs? What is your CPU (and full PC specs)? We need more info dude. We are not a bunch of magicians, fairies and clairvoyants.

I Apologise my psu is a hx1000

I have 16gb ddr3

And a i7 2600

The temps are not going above 65c

What are the clockspeeds like in games?

Both the gpus are usually at 100% but they fluctuate heavily

Okay just checked and both gpus sit at 1018mhz the entire time

I'd try using the card in a rig with a better CPU, an i7-2600 is only a bit better than an FX-8350 (20% faster singlethreaded but 10% slower multithreaded) and such an FX is barely capable of not bottlenecking a single 290X (I had that exact combo). My vote goes for the CPU bottleneck, especially after:
