GPU riser or black plate?

I have a ASUS GTX 1070 on my Gigabyte Z270 Gaming 7 board in a S340 Elite.

 

What do you guys think would look better, a riser so the card is facing the glass panel, or a custom engraved backplate?

Which Asus 1070? The Strix? The white one?

Does that case even support having a GPU in the orientation you are asking about? From the pics I see, it would appear as though that would require major case surgery with a dremel.

Unless the case has a vertical type mount that would need to be made so the backplate would be simpler to a certain degree.
