i use a portable version of Photoshop CC and it takes about 3 or 4 seconds to load, on my PNY was about 5 - 6 seconds, i have not experienced any lags when using rulers or anything as i did with HDD, at the times i do run other programs in the background too. I also unzip, repack and decode large 4K video files on avg of 65GB and it zooms, usually only takes a few min opposed to a HDD that takes about 10 - 15 min
