Hi guys I am going to be returning my gigabyte z170x gaming 7 in a day. And would like to ask you guys if I should try it again or go with a new one. The Maximus looks good but I need to have a reliable board what would you recommend.

What is your issue with your current board? I have the Gigabyte Z170N mini itx version and it has given me no issues, other than its mediocre overclocking abilities.

My legit rig:

CPU: i5 6600k GPU: Asus Strix 1070 RAM: 16 GB of Corsair LPX CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 Motherboard:  Asus Z170I Pro Gaming Storage: Adata Sp550 120 GB and WD Black 3 TB Case: NZXT Manta Power Supply: EVGA 550 GS Monitors: 2 LG 25UM58-P Ultrawides Keyboard: Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid-i Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB

Thanks for the info. If it was me, I would try the board again. You have to return it anyway. I am a proud supporter of Gigabyte, but every company messes up at some point. If the next board doesn't work, return it and buy from another company. I actually made a mistake when I said I had a Gigabyte motherboard. I have the Asus one in my signature. I was thinking of a pc that I built for a good friend of mine. :D
