I am currently looking at purchasing the nzxt s340 but I am encountering a problem. I love the tempered glass but I only have room on the left side of my desk so my question is, is there a way to flip the way my motherboard is in the case and have the class on the right side of the case without having to turn my case backwards.

Not without modding. There are only a few good inverted cases like the 600c and dark base 900 pro

Would anybody then be able to give me the simplest way possible to mod the s340 to be inverted or will I need to pull out the power tools

Just flip it upside down, cover the now-top with something to make it look better, and put some feet at the now-bottom for airflow.

What about using the io

Just use the rear IO, or use a hub, or plug it in from the bottom because the case will be raised?

Is there anything cheaper or can the s340 be modded by just unscrewing a few screws

Idk, look it up on some other forums, it is a popular case, someone has probably done it. It cannot be inverted with screws, like the dark base pro 900. In most cases I think a dremel and drill would be needed to invert the mobo tray, or you could just flip the case ;).
