Hi, i was in your situation.

 

Here's my gaming pc that i bought on september 2013.

 

i5-4670k

asus gryphon z87 + armor kit

corsair vengeance pro 8gb 1600mhz

corsair rm750w

samsung 840 evo 120gb

werstern digital wd green 2tb

corsair h100i (2x corsair sp120 quiet edition fans)

evga gtx760 2gb superclocked acx cooler

corsair obsidian 350d

2x corsair af140 quiet edition at the front

1x corsair af120 quiet edition at the rear

For gaming? Intel... maybe an i5?

How do you install is it like you have to screw in and plug in or one you have to use thermal paste for?

you need to buy thermal paste and apply it on the cpu but it's cheap and easy to do

Don't get an i5 in this buget. the 8320/50 will outperform it in any game  and getting a locked cpu and motherboard is useless

you'll want to get a litle more power from your cpu(after one month or after one year) but you won't be able to do it

go with amd and a nice 990fx chipset motherboard
