Specs:

AMD FX-6350 OC'd to 4.6GHz

XFX RX 480 RS 8GB BestBuy Edition

8GB RAM

Windows 7 Pro SP1

Anybody else having issues with overclocking thier RX 480s? I have the one stated above and if i even go over the clock speed by 10 MHz the whole screen will stop, go black, come back and tell me the driver crashed. MSI Afterburner reads the card at a core clock of 1288 MHz and a memory clock of 2000 MHz. It usually sits around 55C at idle (I have no case fans atm. Different story) At full load it roughly peaks at 68-69C so i know its not a heat issue. Just curious if anybody else has this issue

Are your turning up the voltage with it? You need to otherwise it wont be stable (Also need to stress test it to be sure).

no havent touched the voltages. Considering even the slightest changes were causing strange issues like the driver crashing, I didnt mess with it much. I would tress test with MSI Kombustor 2 when i would apply the clock changes and thats when things went weird

Well, you need to as you overclock, no chance otherwise.
