Here is my current build plan. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fTt76X I need to add a CPU (Intel only), motherboard, and CPU cooler (liquid or air) to it, with a 500$ budget. I plan on using this primarily for gaming and will be doing some light overclocking.

Sidenote: If any of you have recommendations for a good 100-200 gaming monitor, 25 inch, 60 hz, 1-2 ms response time, that would be great.

You didn't actually say what your other components were using and you didn't say you needed RAM so based on that here is what I would do:

Processor

Cooler

Motherboard

Thanks for pointing that out. I added the link.

In addition to the requested part recommendations I would suggest a few changes to the OP build list.

A slightly less expensive memory kit with the same performance from a reputable manufacturer.

A much larger ssd. A larger, fast store will provide a better experience than the smaller but faster ssd.

A much better psu.

I might be using CableMod to color some of my cables, at least the 24 pin and 6 pin. Do you have another recommendation for a fully modular PSU?

EVGA SuperNOVA 550 (220-G2-0550-Y1) would be an excellent choice. As would  Corsair RM550x.

I couldn't find any ddr4, 3000mhz or faster, white 2x8 gb memory for a reasonable price. I changed the powersupply to the one you suggested, plus 100 watts, and upgraded the ssd from 128 to 256 gbs. Here is the new list. Any final things? I plan to begin purhcasing parts within the next few days.

Looks fine. I would note that the Intel 600p is not the best performing NVMe drive.

I just wanted my computer to boot as fast as possible. I wanted an upgrade from my current 3 minute boot time. Other than the SSD, do you think that the build is done and I can start purchasing?

A SATA III ssd will give you very good boot times. The 600p will be faster.

Build list looks good to me.
