hello,

i want to buy a gtx 285 used, but my psu only has one 6-pin pci-e plug, and the card needs two.

the psu also has 2 molex plugs, but they are joined up, connecting to one molular socket on the psu.

will a dual molex to 6-pin work with my configuration?

You shouldn't have to be paying anything for a GTX 285 ;)
But yes, you can get adapters for that, as long as you have 2 free molex connectors.

i got the card for 30 euro, which is basically all i had spare... so no, i don't have enough for a 1050.

i coudn't make use of one anyway, my pc has a core 2 duo e8400, so that's not very fast either.

You could be getting something better at 30 euro's.
Since you're dutch too, have a look at tweakers.net vraag&aanbod:

https://tweakers.net/categorie/49/videokaarten/aanbod/#filter:q1YqSExPDc6sSlWyMjQw0FEqKMpMTvVNrFCyMoXzMvOUrHQNawE

As far as I know its by far the best second hand market for computer parts and other electronics.

I've personally sold multiple items and I've bought some too and I've never had a bad experience.

Just be sure to check the sellers reviews.

BTW:

You can use this website to (roughly!) compare the performance of graphics cards:
