Boot issue Error: 0xc000000f

My friend tried overclocking his 880k with bclk and his computer wouldn't turn on. So I cleared the cmos and now I get this error message. It says repair using installation media. So will it work if I use windows media creation tool on a usb to repair it? Or do I have to use the disc?

You can use a USB. Just go into the UEFI and select the USB as the primary boot media and reinstall windows.

 

Since you reset the BIOS settings, I think you HAVE to do this.
