Hey

Yesterday I was trying to factory reset my friends pc with Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7 on a Samsung SSD. As clumsy as my friend is, he accidentally pressed the power button on the case when the process was at around 40% completed and well obviously it fucked up everything. When you turn on the pc now it shows black screen for a couple of seconds before it comes with the "No operating system found. Try disconnecting the drives not containing an operating system".

This scenario is a little confusing: The pc was originally with a 240 gb ssd on which Windows 8 was installed and a 1tb hdd as D: drive, but then we took the samsung ssd containing windows 10 from another pc and installed it in the new pc. It resulted in the first ssd with windows 8 installed (which is boot priority 1) not being able to boot properly but the samsung ssd with windows 10 booted fine. My concern is that now you cannot access the BIOS when turning on the PC. I hope there is a solution to that?

My plan was to access the bios, boot from a windows 10 usb installation, use command prompt to erase any left overs on the in total 3 drives in the machine and then install windows 10 from scratch. I really do not know how else I can save this pc.

Bonus info: The reason we decided to full reset is because we kinda got attacked by some nasty malware and adware. We tried to save it other ways but.... yeah...

I hope someone in here can help me somehow

There should be a way to access BIOS on boot, even if there's no OS to boot. Find a way to open BIOS (spamming the usual Fsomething keys) then boot a Win10 recovery USB and find your way to the option for fixing boot problems (or reinstall windows completely, which should be a wiser choice)
