FileZilla FTP Server need help

Ok i have downloaded FileZilla FTP Server i set EVERY single thing up and i can login to my server on localhost on my machine

 

BUT WHEN I USE https://www.noip.com/.  EXTERNALLY PORT 21 it says ECCONREFUSED i have used correct username password and host  

 

I did:

PORT FORWARD VIA ROUTER

Firewall setting:

Disabled firewall

Disabled all anti virus

Set up external ip to the NO-IP hostname

Assuming you are connecting via FileZilla FTP Client to a FileZilla FTP Server.

 

You can check the server side log, to verify if any connection is being made.  You can do this on the FTP Server by going to Edit/Settings/Logging - Enable Logging

 

Once you have the logging, depending on where you installed FileZilla Server, the historical logs will be located in that directory;

C:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla Server\Logs

 

After you have enabled the logs, retry the connection to the server via FileZilla FTP client, if you have absolutely nothing in the log after rettying the connection.  Your connection did not reach the server at all, this would indicate the firewall port forward is not correct and/or you have another firewall software application preventing access (anti-virus etc)

 

If you do get some information within the log, paste it here (omitting any usernames and passwords) and I will have a look for you.
