soo my ram is well kOe2k1m.pngsoo lets do some math i got 8 GB of ram, and if i add all of the programs

kkvrBCp.png it does not add to 65% what is going on? a virus?

hmmm. Might be worth running Malwarebytes, but if you don't have Firefox open it could be a crazy addon that is making Firefox go nuts. I would also turn up the virus sheild on the AVG settings and run a full scan, if you can.  Hope this helps ^^

Once you remove those threats I recommend running Ccleaner.  Clean out all the junk and afterwards Reboot your  computer to clear out the memory and You also need to keep in mind that they could be temp files that are infected, the USB Autorun Virus or something like that.  Just remove them to the quarantine and the AVG Virus Vault so that if anything goes wrong you can restore back.  Please also re-install Firefox and remove/disable all firefox addons.  While doing this use a program called KillSwitch as administrator and filter all the safe processes.  This will allow you to see all unknown/malicious processes.  To see what is making Firefox or anything pound your RAM.  Make sure Windows 8.1/8 is up to date and if you aren't using 8.1 update to it as there is a possibility your Memory Firmware could be exploited.  Hope this helps :)

No worries, Chrome is actually quite heavy these days. I know a friend with 2GB of RAM. 5 Tabs of Chrome made his PC Crash...
