I was looking at the Surface Book and realised it was quite expensive. The drawing factor to the Surface Book was the fact that it is able to be either a laptop or a tablet which is important to me as I am on the go a lot and this will be very useful. I have looked at the Lenovo Yoga and it is almost the same price. Are there any other options that cost less than either of them?

Uses are Word Processing, Media Consumption and Music. I might also be using the Adobe Collection mainly AI and PS maybe Dreamweaver.

Thanks

Do you need the pressure sensitivity with a stylus? Or would just a regular stylus work?

Doesn't really matter.

Not sure which ones have styluses that come with them, though I do know that a normal capacitive stylus like you'd use on a phone should work with them, the Lenovo Yoga laptops are amazing, I've got a Yoga 710-15IKB and absolutely love it, though I do wish it had the watchband style hinge that the 910 has.

I was looking at the 700 line. Can you give me a mini review on it?

The build quality is good, though I've noticed that there tends to be a spot where the display and the frame aren't held together very tight, so if you press on it, it'll move back a little, but it's nothing major, I haven't had any problem with it so far, and I've had the laptop for at least a month now.

The fans can be a little noisy at times, but they're not horrible, and they keep the laptop pretty cool. I haven't seen mine go over 60c or so, partially thanks to the metal body allowing for even better heat dissipation.

Performance wise, it's great, I've got the 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD (Upgraded to 512GB), and i5 7300U model, it can struggle a little at times if you try opening a large application, or doing really heavy work, but it's a thin and light laptop, you're not going to get a desktop worth of power out of it.
Graphically, it's not the best in terms of performance, it only has the GTX 940MX and I forget what integrated intel graphics. Though the display on the other hand, absolutely beautiful. One of the best displays I've seen on a laptop.

The keyboard is nice, there's a little bit of flex, but nothing that is unbearable or annoying. And the trackpad is pretty decent too, much better than some other laptops I've seen. (You'll need to change some settings for it though, otherwise it can be a bit annoying)

Battery life is fantastic, I've been able to go a good 4-7 hours of moderate use, or an entire day of light use without having to charge it.

I'd definitely recommend the 710-15IKB, plenty of room on the screen, and with scaling set to 100% instead of the default 125%, it's even better.
