Case not compatible with motherboard because of front USB 3.0!

waterjug

Okay guys, I have a problem, the case I ordered, the zalman z1 neo- https://goo.gl/JSZxVC is not compatable with my motherboard- https://goo.gl/VUrfbb  because of the front USB port on the case. The motherboard is not compatible with front usb 3.0 i/o ports. Will I be fine? Does usb 2.0 work through a usb 3.0 port? Can I replace the usb port manually somehow? And to make matters worse, I already bought it.

Just use a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adapter. They'll operate as if they're just normal USB 2.0 ports.

I liked one on Amazon.

It'd be internally.

Most 3.0 cases actually come with a 3.0 adapter. make sure your case doesnt before you buy one.

A case is meant to house components, just because a front panel connector might not plug in on your motherboard does not mean the two won't work together.

ok, the reason why I asked was because there was a compatibly issue on my pc part picker, and it was after I bought it long story short with an amazon wish list.
